ARTIST STATEMENT
< a work in pro(gr/c)ess>
i am obsessed with process.
through (transdisciplinary)(artistic) process + practice, i seek to understand how intersections with/in design, dance, emergent strategy, queer phenomenology, and critical (mixed) (race) theory shape worlds, experiences, inter/actions, realities, possibilities, visions, and futures.
my (movement/research) interests include: site-specific investigations of non/belonging, in/betweenness, ambiguity, and fluidity, especially with/in queer + mixed race identities with/in liminal landscapes; (embodied) question-making as subversive + generative practice; and the iterative process of working with principles of design justice and emergent strategy to move in (more) right relationship to change.
guiding inquiry includes:
i seek to work across fields, disciplines, practices, and processes to interrogate, challenge, critique, and subvert dominant systems of power, supremacy, and oppression.
i seek to work across fields, disciplines, practices, and processes to co-build and co-shape radical, just, abundant, and liberatory futures.

how are interdependent processes + practices with/in
choreography, performance, research, and design site(s) for practicing adaptation + re/orientation towards survival through crisis, chaos, and apocalypse?
